Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you need HVAC help outside those hours, call our regular office number and follow the recorded instructions to reach the technician who is on call.
After-hours service is intended for problems that reasonably should not wait until the next business day. We do not operate a separate emergency dispatch center. One of our service technicians carries the on-call phone and can help determine the appropriate next step.
If the on-call technician comes to your home, they will investigate what is going on and determine what is wrong with the system. That visit and diagnosis is the diagnostic charge. The after-hours diagnostic fee is $175, compared with $125 during regular office hours. Once the problem is diagnosed, the technician will explain what they found and the cost of any recommended repair before additional work is done.
If your home is safe and reasonably comfortable, waiting until regular business hours is usually the simpler and less expensive option. If there is a gas odor, carbon-monoxide alarm, active smoke or fire, serious electrical burning or sparking, or another immediate safety concern, contact the appropriate emergency service rather than waiting for an HVAC technician.
