If another HVAC company has recommended a major repair or replacement and you are not sure, a second opinion can give you another independent evaluation before you make a major decision.
We treat a second-opinion visit like a normal service call. The technician listens to what you were told, evaluates the equipment, and reaches their own conclusion about what is happening. If there is a reasonable repair option, we can explain it and provide a price. If replacement still makes more sense, we will explain why.
You are welcome to share another company’s diagnosis, photos, readings, or proposal. That information can provide useful context, but we still evaluate the system ourselves before making a recommendation.
If replacement continues to make sense, we can arrange a separate, no-charge visit with a System Designer to explore replacement options for your home. If you already know you are replacing the system and simply want another proposal, that is better handled as a second-quote visit rather than a second-opinion service call.
